This charming home in the South Loop was perfect for a family of five, but the kitchen felt a bit out of place. The client wanted to create a more open and inviting atmosphere, so we decided to take down the wall that separated the kitchen from the dining room.
We opted for a sleek color palette that combines crisp white and bold charcoal black cabinetry, which really elevates the space. The quartz countertop and the elegant marble mosaic backsplash adds a touch of sophistication. Plus, we created a spacious kitchen island that seats five, making it a great spot for family meals or casual hangouts. To keep things organized, two pantry cabinets provide plenty of storage and tie in beautifully with a cozy coffee counter, perfect for those who love their caffeine fix.
We also gave the Family Room’s fireplace a stylish makeover, featuring a chic marble mosaic, a modern mantel, and built-in shelves to showcase the family’s favorite books and photos. Overall, it’s now a warm and welcoming space that feels just right for the family!
